On January 29, 2009 some members of the Young Women Leaders Program (YWL); Dr. Imad Salamey, Dr. Nabelah A Haraty, Kim Lauren Pierce and Zarmig Tchekijian attended a launching reception of Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program at the Lebanese American University of Beirut (LAU). This program is a partnership between the Lebanese American University (LAU), the American University of Beirut, and the American University of Cairo and sponsored by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI). It aims to provide a 4 years education scholarship for academically distinguished Arab students. The reception was an opportunity for the Young Women Leaders Program team to discuss with students and administrators common themes and prospects for joint collaborations. The YWL team extended their support and wishes of success to all participating Tomorrow’s Leaders.
